The Coalition is actively monitoring the following issues:
- New Jersey’s application for a Federal Waiver Needed because of deep cuts to state aid for special education.
- IDEA $$ Watch: Information about Federal Funding Through the American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA) Funding
- New Jersey Policy & Code
- Adequate funding for special education services for students with disabilities in charter schools or in other “School Choice” settings.
- How lack of appropriate funding for special education is affecting students, both with and without disabilities.
